Get to know the photographer
McKinley Fisk
Hey there! I’m a wife, boy mama, Highland cattle lover, and Iowa photographer with a soft spot for cowboy country and the real, unpolished moments that make life beautiful. From muddy boots in the calving barn to teary-eyed “I do’s,” I’m all about capturing life with grit, heart, and a whole lot of Western soul. If you’re all for authenticity over perfection, we’re going to get along just fine.
I’m all about keeping the raw, beautiful moments of your story alive and well.
I’m not here to stage picture-perfect moments, I’m here for the real stuff. Expect me to jump in with energy, crack a few jokes, and keep things light so you can relax and be yourself. Whether we’re chasing light across a pasture or soaking up the joy on a wedding day, I’m all in- cheering you on, wrangling the chaos, and making sure we have a good time along the way. My goal is simple: to tell your story honestly and make sure it feels like you.

Since I was old enough to walk, I’ve been an artist. Creativity runs deep in my family. My mom’s a K-12 art teacher, and my grandma’s a painter. Growing up, I always felt a pull to use my own gifts to bring joy to others. It just took me a while to figure out how. Farm life and motherhood have given me a lens to see the world- messy, real, and full of beauty in every small moment.
